"Krise oder Chance?" was a prompt for a magazine cover and spread when Vienna's train stations were receiving an influx of Syrian refugees. In my research, I found that most of the refugees were women and children.
My concept evokes memories of childhood in western viewers. Illustration is reminiscent of Mario's only attempt to reach the flag at the end of every level in the video game Super Mario Bros.
